Tickets

Coming to the World Trial couldn’t be simpler. Adult admission is £10 per day, under-16s go free, and parking is £5 per day. You can pay on the gate when you arrive, but booking in advance means faster entry on the day, and it helps us plan the best possible event for everyone.

At a glance

Adult admission: £10 per day
Under-16s: free
Parking: £5 per day
Children’s activities: free
Grandstand day tickets: available now, book early

A full day out, included in your ticket

Your admission covers far more than the trialling. The Market Marquee brings together local crafters and makers, there are craft demonstrations running through the day in the Scottish Borders Showcase Marquee, and the children’s activities are entirely free of charge, which means a family day at the World Trial costs no more than the grown-ups’ tickets and the parking.

Plus there’s local food and drink stalls, the big screens showing the action from the trial fields, farming influencers and social media stars to meet, and the atmosphere of the biggest event in the sheep dog world!.

Grandstand Seats: Book Now

If you’re coming for the trialling itself, a grandstand seat is the way to watch it. The grandstands sit directly on the trial field, with a clear, elevated view of every stage of the run, from the moment the dog is sent away on the outrun to the final shed and pen. No craning over shoulders, no standing for hours: your seat, guaranteed, whatever the weather brings and however big the crowds.

Four-day grandstand tickets have now almost sold out, but Farmers Mart Day Passes are still available, so if there’s a day you’ve circled in the calendar for watching the trial, book your seat now rather than chancing it on arrival.

Can't be here? Watch from anywhere

The World Trial will be livestreamed around the globe, and a livestream package puts every run in front of you wherever you are, which is perfect if you can’t make the journey, or if you want to catch the days you’ll miss. It’s also a lovely gift for the trialling enthusiast in your life who can’t travel. The livestream is open to members (£60) and non-members (£80) of the ISDS alike, and to register you’ll need to create an account.
